Now Sell in Boxes to your Restaurants and in Bottles to your Retail Outlets
At present, we support a base unit and 5 alternate units of measurements in product setup, order taking as well as reporting.

Some of you have been asking for a pre-defined default unit or only allowed unit for a certain segment of customers. It’s like you saying, I would like to sell my Ketchup to restaurants only in boxes but I am happy to sell it to retail outlets in bottles. Likewise trying to sell to your distributors or stockists in cartons. 

Admins can select a selling unit of measurement for any sub-type of customers for order, dispatch and return transaction. Likewise admin can also define a selling unit for partner primary order intent and primary sales transactions as well. 

As a result, reports and downloads related to customer and partner sales transactions will reflect data in the selling unit. We have released a beta version of our new APIs. In case you are interested in moving to new APIs, please communicate with your BeatRoute POC.

Standardization of Fields in Reports and Downloads

We had sent out a pre-releasing note informing you about this. Column header names in various reports and downloads have been standardized for nomenclature. We do not expect you to have built automated reporting features based on these download reports, however if you have, you will need to make the necessary change. Always use our APIs for any data exchange for continued compatibility.
